Awsome work! How many layers do you use in the hoods and roofs, and how did you determine how many layers would give you the same relative or better strength than the metal parts?
hello I wanted to comment on your parts they are very nice looking. I am kinda new at this stuff but would like to learn. I have a question on how a hood is made. What baffles me is on some carbon fiber hoods “the quality ones” it looks like the carbon wrapes around the edge and overlays the back by a couple inches. Is this an illusion. Is there a parting line that is being covered up. I now some people paint from the edge back black to hide this. If you could post a how to article that would be great. And am I correct there are two pieces top and bottom with ribs that are bonded together. If so what is it bonded together with.
