RC Heli

One of my favorite pilots given it a good throw around. The heli was released last year and the kit can be purchased for $700 or $1,120.99 with blades and Vbar.

It is amazing what they can get the helicopters to do, however I would be in fear if I was near one especially of them rotor blades!

I’d prefer to have some sort of physical barrier between me and that!

This guys radio control must have been broken…

Wow that is spectacular, and the pilot :amazed:

Really dangerous, these cr helis have a lot of power, even if it impacts a few meters of you, parts of the blades can hurt you …

They can have about 1HP/Lb ratio to give you an idea the Bugatti is 1HP/4Lbs about (Herman correct me on that you Buggati nut :D). The blades and chassis are epoxy/CF, the blades can rotate up to 2500+ rpm and can be 700-800mm each. It can be VERY dangerous to stand close to one.

That is about right, 1 HP for 4 lbs, excluding driver…

It seems that death by the rotor blades has already occurred with a RC helicopter over 10 years ago…

Enjoy your hobby/work but remember safety.

WARNING may contain photos of injuries.

I also found this thread that discusses safety and injuries with these craft. Not wishing to alarm people here, merely making people aware of the dangers involved using these, they should not be considered as toys.
