Ya that could work but then you are just redoing what you did with the bondo. I doubt that you could get the surface as smooth as you can with layer of paint. I have always had a certain amount of lumpiness when coating with resin.
So I could put some Epoxy on it and it would be just as good as painting it? I would come out with a nice smooth finish? I think I woud alot if imperfections that way… Just my thinking as well
