EMI the company is getting broken up into 3 sections and they are being sold cause the owner is moving to Japan to be a consultant for pretty big composites company. He got military contracts and sold those contracts to the company he is going to be working for and getting paid salary. I am buying his automotive\marine\bike section of the business

it is Texalium in the silver, I have seen the black it is pretty cool stuff too. You can get carbon sleeves from aerosleeves.com I think is the website and they are like a sock.
Thanks and i guess the sleeve is infused… i start with the easier stuff first and figure out this later. But you need an epoxy that can stand heat for the engine compartement?
yeah, there are VER’s out there that can handle a lot of heat. That silver is very stiff and a pain to work with.
the sliver in the pic on the first page appears to be texallium to me… how does the silver kevlar/carbon hybrid from fiberglasssupply compare in appearance, ease to work with, etc? or is this just another case of different name, same product?
no it is a hybrid of silver kevlar and carbon, same texture as carbon and flexability
Any idea where to find this hybrid kevlar silver?
