dual twill do you not get a problem with a print through/shadow of the resin lines on the part. When i first tried laying the resin lines on the part a ghosting outline appeared in certain lights, just curious.

if I don’t push on the tube while it is infusing I don’t have a problem. Just the pressure from the vaccum does not do it for me
was the scoop that you molded in from something you bought or had made out of foam first?

the scoop was an ABS scoop made by Lund, well when we made the mold, the weight from the fiberglass sunk the middle of the scoop in. Last time we do that!
easy fix for that would be to glue some styrofoam on the underside for “support” when you glass it in and when you build the molds.

they have some big blocks of foam you can carve out of. I usually do not suggest them but these are ok priced

well we still have not done it yet, but we will just use an air saw with a sand blade on it
