ya something with a quicker gel time would be nicer, but also keep in mind that we are talking about a thin film here and that would also lengthen the time to gel when compared to the actual “pot life” of a certain mass of the resin system…so something even quicker might be needed… damn…always so many variables lol
rc51_00… maybe build an oven… Jgreer epoxy will cure in 1 hr at 120F. I’m not sure what that is in Celcius?
I need to build a make shift “oven”. plywood, some hinges, a latch, fiberglass building insulation, and a small space heater.
becareful if you post cure surface coat, if your plug is made from different materials they will expand and contract differently causing surface problems on your mold, and you could also cause pre-release. plus you may also miss your window time where you would want to start lamination and still get a good chemical bond, rather then a secondary bond
