Lots of holes in Stretchlon film when infusing

Gonna revive an old thread here…

Is it actually possible to use stretchlon as a bagging film for infusion? From my experiences with it, even a perfect seal with no apparent holes leads to very quick vacuum loss (I’m using 200 however I still don’t think I have any holes which is why I don’t think a thicker version would help much)

I was under the impression that it stretching results in porosity which results in it not being able to sustain a vacuum at all. Is that not true? Even at close to its maximum elongation, but before its breaking point, it’s supposed to be able to hold a full vacuum?
