"Learned" from my 1st attempt =(

hahaha. thanks for the upgrade on the title :wink:

I’ve been wanting to try more stuff on here…:smiley:

i just ā€œLEARNEDā€ my first prob EVER making a mold. EVER, and ive made plenty of molds.

1st time i ever made a mold with a heater next to it. well, it was making the epoxy so watery that it dripped i noticed , and it made a lot of air pockets!!! well, there are some holes in my mold, 2 the size of a .25$. some small ones. im chipping it out and then filling it in with some poly, bondo. hope this works.

Airtac2 and Super77 are the same, super77 is clear but Airtac2 is transparent red. So Airtac2 are litlle better because you can see how much did you spread it.

but I use syper77

If someone has touched upon this already, sorry for the repeat…but…
a dust mask will do NOTHING for fumes. You need a carbon filter mask, or respirator to have any effect.

Correct. A dust mask barely does anything for actual dust, let alone fumes, with those gaps all around.
Use a respirator for all work.

mask = 110$ mask… not a dust mask. i dont want to get lung cancer thanks… or brain damage :wink:

I recommend 3m 750X mask
X= size
with 3M 6059 filter for acetone, PER etc.

ah, good. But it still smells bad? Old filter/wrong filter maybe then? I think you need a standard organic. P100 I think.
