infusion viscosity prob.??

Fox, I had made 3 plugs (seperate of each other ) first, because that is how the originals are,but they are asembled together once finished…sort of a slip fit with very close tolerances.

Evan and I talked,he thought I would be better off to lay the plugs in the order they would be assembled (side by side) but have a gap of the aluminum tape between them so as to let the CF weave stay straight and later when ALL the pieces are assembled, the weave grain would line up nicely !

Whereas before ,I was going to be fighting /guessing where the weave would fall ( cosmettically) by having 3 seperate molds instead of just one elongated.

Hope that explains it, sorry for the “wordiness” lol.

                                 ....................Vinny 8)

ya vinny that totally makes sence on piece of fiber. I have a mold that is sort of like that, 2 objects but done’t go together, both seprate peices 1 mold,
cool ,later…brian

hey Iam still having trouble with infusion,
As far as the bag streching, Iam useing a nylon 4mill bagg material
my hg are good 27-29hg
no leaks
3 layers plain weave glass

VER is sopostabe 300 in viscosity
flow media 3/4 of the mold…

help
Ive got pics just have to up load them
