No problem! I would love it if you kept me updated on how it goes for you. I am really excited to see how it turns out for you. I have some other ideas to make different styles of holsters as well. Maybe an owb holster without the huge flanges that most kydex holsters have.
Sure thing! I’m currently waiting for my handgun to come back from the shop. I was getting it Cerakoted. As soon as it is back, I’m going to try to make a holster with two plies of carbon and a ply of Kevlar on the inside for abrasion resistance.
I have made quite a few holsters since my original post. Here is my most recent holster that I have made for a Glock 19 with a Viridian laser. I made an inside the waist band and an outside the waist band holster for the customer who ordered.
Just checked out your page, good to see people from Idaho on here. I’ll be staying tuned.
I made a holster for a Glock over a year ago… turned out nice, but too ridgid to be practical and too high a manufacturing cost to be a good consumer product.
It actually looked better in person than with my cheap cell phone camera pics. The holster consists of three seperately molded components. I made 3 molds and each mold was a compression type mold. The gun actually has a press fit into the holster… once slid in it “locks” in place.
Which glock do you have? 9mm or .45 or another?
That looks super awesome! It is definitely a lot of work. I like that you even made a paddle out of cf!
