that was the use of a different molding technique or some trickery with the layup.

Hard to do for real and a lot of builders just sand it down curved and seal it with resin or gel…

I just paint it and do the bondo thing to make it as smooth as possible.

is that black paint for the edges anything special? what do you use?

I spray paint all my parts with primer and flat black on the “backside” so I jut make sure I get it along the edges.

I also use a “glaze” putty for bodywork. Its a greenish color and really thin. It sets up super fast (10 minutes to total cure) and sands smooth.

I paint over that on any area that needed the smoothing.

Of course the carbon color is only black;) , the color in my web site is “type” carbon but not carbon. I have this moment blue, red, green. I get it from Italy but is very difficult to find it.:frowning:

Correct, I sand it very slowly and make a fader on the part.

that colored glass is next to impossible to find here aswell, would make some really cool parts! do you have any pics of any parts made using it?
