Tomorrow I’m going to intentionally take this site down to protest SOPA and PIPA. This may come as annoyance to some but here’s the reality.
Tomorrow I’m choosing to take this site down but in the future I may not have that choice. The bills going through the American House and Senate may give the government the right to shut down any website for nebulous reasons.
A number of the users here are international users but the same message applies; communication information should be free and unregulated, whether it’s simple tips about composites between us, or messages of hopes to millions. The internet truly is a tool for the masses and should remain so.
