No the mold is CNC’d and then the mandrel is poured or cast in it and removed then used as a core…
how many layers? who knows Id guess its more than a few and I dont have any clue how you get it all layed out right.

Anyone know how they would do the lay-up to make these rims? From joining the spokes to the hub and to the outer rim, to just wrapping the material around the spokes? What is the process?
