Is it best to cut the resin flow anywhere that you have a 90 degree angle? Also, what do you use to stick the carbon to the mold if you are not using clear gel coat or something similar. I have super 77 but I have notice that even sprayed on in very small amounts it will leave a visible residue?
i use gel coat on all my parts but flat panels
ah, ok. What brand of gel coat do you use? I am not sure what brand I have now but it came from fiberglasssupply and I mix in a little Duratec high gloss additive so that it is thin enough to spray.

I use just a normal UV gel from composites one. It does not say what brand it is. They buy it bulk and repackage it themselves under their name. I use a larger tip so I don’t have to thin it out. Are you using a paint gun or a gel coat gun?
I am using an HVLP spray gun with 1.8 mm tip.
